Tropical Storm Dorian formed in the eastern Atlantic Ocean, with winds sustained around 50 mph Wednesday morning.

It is forecast to move west-northwest through the next several days and slide north of the Caribbean Sea early next week.

Right now, Dorian is not a threat to Louisiana, but areas in the United States, including the Gulf of Mexico, need to closely monitor the track as we enter the last week of July.
