Thursday, December 13, 2012 - 11:00pm

A customer at a gas station is locked up for allegedly throwing a hot cup of coffee at the cashier because he didn’t agree with the price. The entire incident was caught on the store’s surveillance camera.

The Eunice Police Department reports that the incident happened on Thursday, Dec. 13 at Valero, which is located on West Laurel Ave. We’re told the customer, Timothy Longman, 56, of Eunice, got into a verbal argument with the cashier over the price of a cup of joe. He allegedly used profanity when speaking to the woman, then threw his coffee on the employee.

Longman allegedly fled the store after other customers confronted him regarding the action and police were called.

Officers located Longman as he walked into the Eunice City Hall to conduct “other business.” He was taken into custody and booked into the Eunice City Jail for Second-Degree Battery, Disturbing the Peace and Theft.

Emergency responders treated the victim at the scene for blisters that formed on her torso.
