The Louisiana Music Hall Of Fame (LMHOF), in association with the Paragon Casino Resort in Marksville, announces the induction of Shreveport native Kix Brooks.

The LMHOF honor will occur during Brooks' evening performance at the Paragon's Mari Showroom this Saturday, July 13.

Brooks reached success first as a solo artist, then as a member of Brooks & Dunn with Ronnie Dunn. The duo won more Country Music Association and Academy of Country Music awards than any act in history, selling over 30 million records in the process.

Brooks resumed his solo career last year with his latest album "New To This Town," and also currently hosts a syndicated radio show, American Country Countdown.

The Louisiana Music Hall Of Fame is designated as "Official" by the Louisiana legislature and has, in the last year, inducted country superstar Tim McGraw and smash new artist Hunter Hayes.
