‘Tis the season to visit with Santa Claus! Santa will be at the Arna Bontemps African American Museum, located at 1327 Third Street in Alexandria, Dec. 13-15 and Dec. 20-22. He will give a moment of his time to each child visiting to discuss their Christmas wish list. Each child will have the opportunity to take a picture with Santa for purchase.

This is a new venture by Project Culture, a project centered on presenting an ethnic Santa for all children of Central Louisiana. Families are encouraged to come out and enjoy time spent together in the company of a Christmas legend.

Santa’s times are as follows:
Dec. 13, 3-8 p.m.   Dec. 20, 3-8 p.m.
Dec. 14, 10 am-6 pm Dec. 21, 10:00 a.m.-6 p.m.
Dec. 15, 3:30-6:30 pm Dec. 22, 3:30-6:30 p.m.

Portraits will be taken by Eric L. Reed Photography. More of his work can be seen on display at the Alexandria Museum of Art, located at 933 Second Street, through February 22 in the exhibit Eric L. Reed: A Still Photo Journey through Film in Central Louisiana.
