Alexandria Christmas Parade calls for float entries

The Alexandria Mardi Gras Association is calling for float entries for the Alexandria Christmas Parade to be held Sunday, December 9, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. This year's Grand Marshal is to be announced.

This year’s parade will once again line up at the Old Jake’s Building Parking Lot (Behind Office Depot) and extension lineup will be on Gus Kaplan Drive. Floats will be given detailed lineup instructions after receiving their Line Up Number. Parade will proceed up Jackson Street Extension and disassemble at the Alexandria Senior High School parking lot.

The theme this year will be “Throw Me Something Santa!”

Applications are available at www.alexmardigras.com. The entry fee is $75.00 with application. The entry fee and application must be received by November 30, 2012 for eligibility to participate in the parade. Please send all applications and checks to Alexandria Mardi Gras Association, P.O.
