JONESVILLE, La. — The town of Jonesville is under a boil water advisory until further notice, according to mayor Hiram Evans.

Residents are asked to boil water for drinking, brushing teeth, etc. for three minutes prior to use.

The boil water advisory will be lifted upon examination of water samples by the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals Lab.
