Many local food banks needed a little extra help during the holidays this year as the demand increased. Cellular One and their customers joined forces to help stock the shelves of local food banks, including the Central Louisiana Food Bank in Alexandria.

A canned food drive took place to help fight hunger in Texas, Montana and Louisiana. Local customers and employees joined together in the food drive. To show their appreciation to those who donated canned food, Cellular One gave an exclusive $50 off discount on new cell phones.

“We were very excited about receiving the extra help this holiday season. We thank Cellular One and their customers for pitching in and supporting our efforts, said Jayne Wright-Velez, Executive Director for Central Louisiana Food Bank.”

“Cellular One believes in investing in our communities to create a more positive future for everyone. The canned food drive was one way we could give back by helping to stock our local food banks and supporting organizations that assist individuals and families in need,” stated Jonathan Foxman, President and CEO for Cellular One.

Cellular One’s vision and values continue to involve supporting and helping its local communities.
