PINEVILLE, La. — As the path of Hurricane Isaac shifts, Cleco Power is starting to experience tropical storm force winds in its Southern District while weather conditions continue to deteriorate in St. Tammany Parish.
Cleco has a workforce of 2,400 employees and contractors ready to restore power as soon as weather permits. As long as working conditions are unsafe, our workers will be unable to begin damage assessment and power restoration.
If the storm continues on its forecasted path, Cleco expects outages throughout its statewide service territory. Cleco will provide another update mid-morning.
