As Hurricane Isaac slowly moves along the Gulf Coast, parts of the Northshore in New Orleans are experiencing flood waters and continue to feel the impact of tropical force winds.

Cleco has a workforce of 2,400 employees and contractors ready to restore power as soon as weather permits. As long as working conditions are unsafe, our workers will be unable to begin damage assessment and power restoration.

Feeder bands from the storm are reaching into the more northern areas of Cleco’s service territory, causing scattered outages.

Cleco will provide an update at 6 p.m.
