Baton Rouge — Hundreds of gun rights advocates will make their voices heard at the State Capitol tomorrow at noon.
A grassroots group called “Guns Across America" has planned rallies at every state in the country.
The group is made up of people who say they're upset that the government is trying to restrict their Second Amendment rights.
One organizer says politicians are taking the wrong approach to improving our safety.
“They don't really know what an assault rifle is, but 373 people were killed back in 2010 with assault rifles,” stated rall organizer Jason Wilbur. “That means more people were killed by hammers... so do we call hammers an ‘assault hammer’?"
The rally will take place at the Capitol Annex Building at noon tomorrow. The group says 500 people are confirmed to attend, but the crowd could be much larger than that.
