Louisiana's infrastrucure receives poor grades

Upgrades needed according to engineers

LOUISIANA (WGMB) — According to a report card released today by the Louisiana section of the American Society of Civil Engineers , Louisiana's roads and bridges are inadequate.

It was put together by 50 volunteers, most of them civil engineers from both the private and public sector.

The group looked at nine areas including roads, bridges, dams, and airports. Each group was given a letter grade “A” through “F”.

One engineer in the group says a good infrastructure is critical for growth.
