Britney Spears offered spot on "THE X FACTOR"

Simon Cowell has reportedly offered up a hefty $10 million to pop princess Britney Spears. That's how much he wants her to sit on The X Factor judges' row. The offer places Spears on par with what former Mickey Mouse Club star Christina Aguilera makes on the rival competition show The Voice.

She's a country music superstar, and according to Billboard, she's a money-making machine. The magazine named Taylor Swift the top act on its money makers list. The pop star earned more than $35 million last year.

Wasting away in Sin City, singer Jimmy Buffett has been approved for a gambling license, with plans to build a Margaritaville casino in Las Vegas.

The fabulous Thunderbirds have joined Rush and Peter Gabriel in demanding that conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh stop using their music. This follows his recent comments about a female law student.

In dating news, Us Weekly is reporting Amanda Seyfried and Josh Hartnett have been hanging-out since January.

It's official, FOX has cancelled Terra Nova, but all may not be lost for the expensive sci-fi drama, as it's now being shopped around to other networks.
