Rumors of potential Jennifer Lopez replacement on “IDOL”; Mary Murphy lawsuit

British pop star Cheryl Cole may be coming to American Idol. The show's execs have reached out to the 28 year old. Word is she may be Jennifer Lopez's replacement. J-Lo earns a reported $22 million, but Cole would probably get a significantly smaller paycheck. Cole did a short stint as a judge on the U.S. version of The X-Factor, but Simon Cowell gave her the boot.

Mary Murphy is being sued. The So You Think You Can Dance judge's ex-manager has filed a breach of contract suit, calling Murphy a desperate, drug-abusing, sexaholic. He is looking to get $1 million in commissions and damages.

The last song recorded by the late Whitney Houston has been released. "Celebrate" is a duet with American Idol winner Jordin Sparks from their upcoming movie, Sparkle, which hits theaters this August.

Brad Pitt has put to rest rumors that he and Angelina Jolie are tying the knot this August. While promoting his new movie, Killing Them Softly at the Cannes Film Festival. He confirmed no date has been set.
