Tropical Storm Isaac is slowly moving through Mississippi and Louisiana bringing heavy rain and high winds through the states. Residents throughout Mississippi are warned to watch for flooding when the storm reaches their communities.
Due to continuing dangerous conditions caused by Tropical Storm Isaac, Commissioner of Administration Paul Rainwater announced that Louisiana state government offices will remain closed Thursday, August 30.
