Hawthorne Heights give a free gift to Louisiana fans

Tuesday, July 6, 2010 - 10:18pm

On Tuesday, June 15, Hawthorne Heights made their debut performance in Baton Rouge. Fans that made it out to the show walked away at the end of the night with a special gift from the band.

The pop-punk band is currently rounding the country on their “Get a Ticket, Get an Album” tour. The concept is that everyone who buys a ticket to a show will get a code for access to download their new album, “Skeletons.”

The album was released on June 1 of this year and is the first album with the band’s new label, Wind-Up Records.

Before the band hit the stage, we talked with JT Woodruff (lead vocalist) and Eron Bucciarelli (drummer) about the new album and why they chose to give it away free.
