ANGOLA, La. — According to family members, former LSU football legend Billy Cannon is doing "very well" after suffering a stroke on February 19.
They say he should be out of the ICU sometime tonight and into a normal room soon.
They go on to say that he has maintained his sense of humor and is gracious.
Cannon suffered the storke yesterday while working at the Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola.
