Vitt won't coach Saints until Week 7

NEW ORLEANS, La -- Joe Vitt, who was named the Saints Interim Head Coach, has had his suspension extended by a week because of the Saints 2012 schedule.

The black and gold have a bye in week 6, meaning his six-game suspension in connection with the Saints bounty probe won't end until after the completion of the team’s week 7 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Saints open up the regular season on September 9 against the Washington Redskins at home.
