Southeast Louisiana back in threat

Overnight, as Tropical Storm Isaac left Haiti and the Dominican Republic battered and has moved over the north shore of Cuba on its way to the southern Florida and the Keys, the track of the storm has shifted westward.
The National Hurricane Center has issued a Hurricane Watch from the mouth of Mississippi River in Louisiana to Indian Pass, Florida. This watch does not include the New Orleans area.
As of 7:00 a.m., the storm has winds of 65 miles per hour and is moving Northwest at 16 miles per hour.
There has been a consistent westward movement in the Hurricane Center's path for the storm. The current track shows landfall just to the east of Louisiana early Wednesday morning as a category 2 hurricane. This could change as the day continues.
Louisiana and Mississippi residents are being urged by state officials to begin storm preparations today.
