LOUISIANA — Hurricane Isaac continues to push across South Louisiana with the eye of the storm currently sitting around the Houma/Thibodaux area. The slow-moving storm is pushing at roughly 6 mph.
Baton Rouge is currently feeling this first wave of the storm with winds at roughly 23 mph and there is currently a Tornado Watch until 4:00 p.m. There is also a Flash Flood Watch until 7:00 a.m.
New Orleans has experienced about 1 foot of rain so far. Winds are currently at 50 mph.
