BATON ROUGE, La. (WVLA) — LSU Tigers fans may need to resort to websites like StubHub to get tickets to the Chick-Fil-A Bowl before long.
The organization announced today that the bowl has sold out.
This year’s sellout makes it the 16th year in a row; that streak only comes in second to the Rose Bowl.
Around 35,000 tickets were sold to local and regional buyers. The rest of the tickets were bought by both schools, who continue to sell tickets to their fans.
The Chick-Fil-A Bowl pits a team from the SEC and the ACC against each other yearly; LSU will go up against Clemson on December 31 at 6:30 p.m. on ESPN.
