Lone ‘egg man’ quits job at Atlanta airport after incident with Saints’ bus

A restaurant worker is taking the blame for egging the New Orleans Saints’ bus as it left the Atlanta International Airport. We’re told the employee quit his job and officials have “closed the case.”

The incident happened last week at the Atlanta International Airport shortly after the players arrived. As the bus was leaving, someone threw eggs at it, sparking a furry of attention on social media platforms.

“Bus just got egged after landing in ATL by the ramp workers. Classy! "RISE Up" smh,” Jimmy Graham wrote on Twitter.

The airport released a statement revealing that the man responsible for the incident was a restaurant employee. They say he has since quit his position with the airport.

“The employee's security badge has been deactivated, revoking all access to the Airport, and the company will be fined,” the airport said in an official release about the incident. “The Department of Aviation has now closed its investigation."

The former employee’s name was not released.
