Mike the Tiger and cow pals pump up LSU spirit
BATON ROUGE — There are only 16 days until the LSU Tigers go head to head with Clemson in the Chick-fil-A Bowl in Atlanta, but some LSU fans are already starting to party.
Dozens of fans came out to the LSU Tiger Spirit Day at the Chick-fil-A on College Dr.
Mike the Tiger and the Chick-fil-A cows pumped up the crowds Saturday afternoon. Kids got a chance to get autographs with LSU dancers and pick up signs to wave at the game. Fans say they're just glad to see the LSU Tigers play a post season game.
"It's very important to cheer them up for the game," Sarah Thompson, LSU fan, said. "It's a bowl game for us. Unfortunately it's not the SEC championship or the title shot, but it's a bowl game. "
The Chick-Fil-a bowl kicks off at 6:30 pm new years eve.
