Monday, December 31, 2012 - 1:30am

The Who Dat Nation is officially in the off season.

The Carolina Panther's punished the New Orleans Saints for the Saints last game in the dome. The final score Panthers 44 Saints 38. The boys in black and gold finished up 7 and 9 for the season.

Saints fans said after bountygate, injuries, and a less than stellar defensive performance; They're ready to put painful 2012 season behind them.

"It hurt it stings," Kezia Babin, Saints fan, said. "It does sting a little bit down deep. Drew was a little off just a little off this season, but we will get better."

Saints fan Lonnie Parra agrees something was off this season.

"The chemistry between Payton and Drew is well known and documented and I think that without that chemistry. If you've ever played a team sport especially football it does affect the psyche and the play calling," Parra stated.

Fans said next season the Saints will come back stronger then ever. Saint's head coach Sean Payton is expected to be back with the team. Fans warn with his help don't count out a black and gold superbowl.
