Drew Brees threw for less than 200 yards for the first time since 2007 as the Saints were blown out by the Seahawks, 34-7.

Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson passed for 310 yards and three touchdowns to lead his team to a pivotal NFC win. He became just the fourth quarterback in NFL history throw for at least 20 touchdowns in his first two seasons.

The Seahawks (11-1) clinched a spot in the playoffs and currently hold the best record in the NFC .

All three of the Saints losses have come on the road in 2013. Seattle's defense was suffocating, holding the Saints to just 188 total yards. The Saints had won nine straight Monday Night Football games leading up to the contest.

Mark Ingram rushed the ball eight times for only 22 yards. Pierre Thomas carried the ball four times and finished with zero net yards rushing.

New Orleans (9-3) will host Carolina (9-3) in the Superdome on Sunday night.

The winner of the game will take the lead in the NFC South.
