Just for a second forget LeBron James, Dwayne Wade and the Miami Heat.

The Tigerettes, representing Baton Rouge, are going for their 8th gold medal at the senior Olympics.

Over time, they’ve proven to be the best in the basketball world.

Recently, the group of seniors took on the host of NBC's Today show.

“The senior Olympics changed my life,” team captain Mavis Albin said on NBC’s Today show.

Their ages range from 66 to 76.

“I’ve been playing all my life. I had older sisters who played and I am just following in their footsteps,” said Nikki Leader, the youngest member of the team.

The question is probably already in the back of your mind. How do these ladies, at this age, hold up playing such a physically demanding sport?

"We've had black eyes and broken fingers. Those girls throw you around a little bit," one team member said.

Their overall record is approaching 200 wins to only five losses. That record is the only thing the Tigerettes are worried about holding up.
