What is certain, the lower Florida peninsula including the Florida Keys will feel showers beginning today and tropical storm force winds associated with the storm beginning as early as Sunday morning.

Haiti and the Dominican Republic are being lashed at this time with weather and strong winds.  The center of circulation is now based just off the southeast coast of Cuba

Mississippi this morning continues to be in the threat zone for a Northern Gulf Coast landfall. However, computer models do suggest that a second Florida landfall will occur on the panhandle.

The Florida Keys and Southwest Florida are in a Hurricane Warning.  Key West is in a State of Emergency order at this time.
