U.S. landfall track still unpredictable

Models for Tropical Storm Isaac are still unpredictable at the moment.  However, the storm continues to strenghten on its northwestwardly track, but has slowed down in movement.

Most of Southeast Louisiana continues to be out of the “Cone of Uncertainty”.  However, Mississippi and points east are still in a potential threat.

Tonight, the western tip of Haiti and it's capital, Port-au-Prince, is in the strike zone of damaging winds and water associated with Isaac.  Haitians still rebuilding from the massive earthquake to hit the country in 2010.  Thousands are still living in tent cities and substandard housing not able to withstand high storm winds.
