BATON ROUGE, LA — Governor Bobby Jindal has ordered a state of emergency in Louisiana due to the extreme cold weather conditions and a shortage of propane and heating products.
To make sure residents have access to adequate heat sources, Jindal has suspended regulations on commercial delivery of heating fuel to the state.
The state of emergency lasts until Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014.
