We have some good news on the latest model run on Tropical Storm Isaac.

Models continue to trend back to the east. For right now, most of Southeast Louisiana is out of the “Cone of Uncertainty”.

Tropical Storm Isaac is slightly more organized and is expected to make landfall in Hispaniola shortly. Isaac is still expected to intensify after it slides through Cuba.

The current National Hurricane Center forecast has Isaac making landfall Tuesday evening at a category 1 hurricane.
